Urbano music powerhouses Feid, Yandel take over downtown Miami with unauthorized 'hang-out' and pop-up concert

MIAMI - "I have a chimba invitation for all you beautiful people in Miami," said Feid in a selfie video on his Instagram account. "Tomorrow around 5:30 or 6 p.m. We're going to do a crazy hang-out. You can come on foot or feel free to join on a boat. Whatever you want to do, come through."

"We'll be with Yandel, and who knows who else!" Feid teased referencing the legendary reggaeton artist and his collaborator on his most recent EP.

"All my people from Miami will be there," added the Colombian Latin urban music artist, and he was, of course, right. Droves of people looking to see the two reggaetón powerhouses collapsed downtown Miami on Tuesday night, congregating on the shores of the Miami River, and in boats in the water.

Feid's 'Ferxxospectacular' 2024

Feid organized the Miami hangout and pop-up concert just a day after he and Puerto Rican star Young Miko performed their collaboration "Offline" on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He is also in the middle of his Ferxxocalipsis World Tour, and is scheduled to perform in Salt Lake City tonight.

Both events are a demonstration of the ever-growing success of the Colombian artist, who is nowadays one of the most popular stars in Latin music, only second to Bad Bunny. This year, Feid and his girlfriend and mega star Karol G dominated the Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs.) His sold-out tour is traveling through the United States before going to Europe.

While the Miami police shot down Feid and Yandel's hang-out and pop up concert, the event managed to create incredible buzz in social media. Their goal was to promote their joint EP Manifesting 20-05, released in April with songs such as "Pa Janguiar," "De Negro," Fecha," "No Digas Na," and, "Brickell."

"Thank you, Yandel, working with you and your team has been one of the coolest experiences that I've had in the industry," Ferxxo wrote on Instagram after the EP dropped. "We had a great time from the day one until the day we finished the video. Thank you for joining me on this album that had to happen."
